I have been working as a professional photographer for the last five years specialising in landscapes and event photography. With a background in creative event production, I've always tried to put myself at the place where creativity meets technology. This has naturally led me toward a career in photography.
I've long held an interest in photography, this gradually developed into a passion and is now somewhat of an obsession. I'm always researching for new locations to shoot and getting there at the right time to make sure I see it at it's best.
I've always enjoyed the beauty and power found in nature, the real world. I am truly grateful to live in a world of such diverse environments. In my landscape photography I try to capture the feeling of a place, or more so my experience of that place. I try to produce images that more closely resembles how the mind may remember, rather than what the eye may see. One of the main reasons I enjoy landscape photography so much is the time you're forced to spend in the moment, waiting for an exposure to tick down. Whether you end up with a great shot or not, there's nothing to do but experience the scene and really take it in. These moments are golden for me, being a solitary observer of nature and light dancing together is truly magic.
